The agaricus harvested to manufacture Yuki-no Agaricus® are all originated from our organic farm in Hokkaido.
   

Mix 100% natural raw materials including wheat bran, rice bran...etc from Hokkaido into sawdust (also from Hokkaido) to form the base. Humidity is maintained at 65%. Pack 2.5kg of the base into bags. Press them evenly to become "blocks". Then sterilize the blocks for 8hrs at 120oC.

Cool the sterilized blocks in an aseptic room for one night. Afterwards, inoculate germs of agaricus into the blocks. Move the blocks into a cultivation room (kept at specific temperature and humidity). After 20 days, mycelia are growing slowly from the top of the blocks.

In order to ensure the agaricus to be heavy metal/pollutant and pesticide free, the covering soil is specially imported from Canada. The soil is dug from 300m underground and was made about 400yrs ago.

After months of careful cultivation, agaricus are ready for harvest.



As fresh agaricus would be self-digested by its enzymes, newly reaped agaricus would be dried immediately. The drying machines are controlled with a computer (24hrs a day).





In order to preserve the active ingredients, agaricus would be extracted with warm water (40oC) under low pressure to produce 1000% concentrated essences.
